Why can I no longer feel a tingle?
Often experienced tingle users find that they can no longer feel the heat of their tingle lotion. The user has become de-sensitized to the active ingredient, benzyl nicotinate which causes the reddening and tingling sensation. The lotions effectiveness is still present even though the feeling is diminished. Alternating between non-tingle lotions will avoid becoming desensitized to the tingle lotion.

How long should I wait before showering after a tanning session?
This depends on the lotion being used. If using a bronzer that contains DHA it is advised to wait 4-6 hours to shower in order to receive the full color develepment of the bronzers. When using a tingle lotion it is recommended that you take a cool shower or wait for the reddening effect of the tingle to diminish before showering to avoid any discomfort.

Can I use Australian Gold lotion outdoors?
It is not recommended to use this lotion outdoors simply because they do not contain an SPF. Indoor tanning is a controlled environment unlike outdoor exposure. We highly recommend using sun protection when tanning outdoors.
Moreover, we particularly advise clients against using tingle products outdoors. Due to extreme heat, the tingle effects can be much more intense and uncomfortable when tanning outdoors.

Hemp Seed Oil is a humectant that pulls moisture from the air to the surface of the skin. It is a skin care ingredient that provides powerful hydration. This is a wonderful ingredient in a tanning lotion because UV exposure can be dehydrating to the skin. In addition, Hemp Seed Oil contains essential fatty acids which help ingredients penetrate into the lipid layers of the skin for increased efficacy.
Will I fail a drug test using a lotion that contains Hemp Seed Oil?
No. The Hemp Seed Oil used in Australian Gold lotions are THC / drug-free. The Hemp Seed Oil used in indoor tanning lotions is a non-psychoactive industrial hemp variety of the cannabis sativa plant. There are no known cases of a positive drug test from the topical application of Hemp Seed Oil tanning lotions.
